On Monday September 9 at 7 pm in the Lions Park Shelter House, the ZLL Board of Directors will hold its annual elections to select the Board for the 2019-2020 season. Any person who served in a volunteer capacity with the league and underwent a background check (team manager, coach, team parent, etc.) may vote on Board candidates and/or may serve on the Board.
We are also looking for volunteers for the Board. Our Board is comprised of more than 20 volunteer positions which manage and execute ZLL’s activities (see the list below). Our league supports more than 700 children each year and we can’t operate without volunteers to conduct our activities. Our committed volunteers are a critical factor in making Zionsville Little League the best youth sports experience in Zionsville.
If you would like to be more involved in Zionsville Little League, you may nominate yourself to be elected as a Board member. The best way to do this is to attend the September 9 meeting and nominate yourself. If you would like to nominate yourself or have questions about the Board positions, but cannot attend the meeting, please contact Zionsville Little League at news@zionsvillelittleleague.org. Please note that we have made some recent changes to our board structure by adding several new positions, so the descriptions on the board duties pages is a little out of date.
