Zionsville Little League offers Tee Ball during both the spring and fall seasons.
Tee Ball is an introduction to baseball and softball for boys and girls ages 4-5 to develop baseball/softball skills. The program provides a tee ball experience that is fun, fitness oriented and teaches the fundamentals. Players will learn hand-eye coordination as well as learn the basics of the game.
We offer separate Tee Ball baseball and softball programs.
Enrollment eligibility is based on the child’s age as of August 31 of the calendar year. For example, in 2027, a child will need to be 4 by 8/31/2027 to be eligible to participate.
In the spring, Tee Ball is typically a 9-10 week season starting in late April and ending in mid-June. There are no Tee Ball activities on Memorial Day weekend.
The typical schedule is a for each team to have one session per week. That session runs 75-90 minutes and consists of both a practice first and then a game against another team. The sessions are typically on Saturdays (variable start times), but sometimes we schedule the sessions for Sunday afternoons if we end up with more teams than a Saturday only schedule can accommodate.
In the fall, Tee Ball is typically a 6-week season starting in mid-August and ending in early October. There are no sessions Labor Day weekend or the following weekend. Usually in the fall all sessions are on Saturdays, but we reserve the opportunity to schedule Sunday afternoon sessions if needed.
