The Steve Strecker Coach of the Year Award is given each year to one baseball and one softball coach who provide outstanding coaching through their character, their concern for positive development, and their enthusiasm for ZLL. The award is named in honor of the late Steve Strecker, a long-time coach and ZLL Board Member who was devoted to the positive development of children through coaching and who’s love for ZLL was unbounded.
Nominations for the award open in the spring and are announced at the ZLL Closing Ceremonies at the conclusion of the ZLL Spring Rec season.
