Championship Saturday will be held on Saturday, June 16th.
We will kick off the day with Closing Ceremonies on field 1 at 10:45 AM, followed by a brief warmup period and the start of championship game at noon on fields 1, 2, and 3. The complete schedule can be viewed on the ZLL Calendar.
The Closing Ceremonies are a new tradition we are starting to wrap up the season, present awards, and build a greater sense of excitement about the Championship games which will follow throughout the day.
Please plan to attend closing ceremonies, which will include the following items:
- Recognition of our great sponsors
- Draw the winners for our fundraising raffle
- Name the team and player winners for raffle sales
- Announce the recipient of the Sponsor of the Year Award
- Announce the recipient of the McKamey-Holmes Volunteer Award
- Announce the recipients of the new Steve Strecker Coach of the Year Award
- Announce the recipients of the new Jack Connor Sportsmanship Award
We will also have a sponsors village, with booths from many of our team sponsors.
Last, but certainly not least, the Indianapolis Indians mascot, Rowdie, will be in attendance.
Please have your sons and daughters arrive at 10:30 wearing either their team shirt or full uniform. More details on where to congregate will be forthcoming.
