It’s time for ZLL’s one and only player fundraiser for the year! This year ZLL will be conducting a raffle.

The Raffle Drawing is on Championship Saturday, June 16

Top Prize: $500 Dick’s Sporting Goods gift card
2nd Prize: 4 Tickets to Cubs vs. Reds July 6 at Wrigley Field (courtesy of ZLL President Rodney Benner)
3rd Prize: $100 Lids gift card
4th Prize: $50 Cash

Each player will receive one bundle of 10 tickets to sell. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. If a player wants to sell more than that, they can be provided additional bundles/tickets. Why would they want to sell more? Because of these awesome incentives:

• The team that sells the most will have the opportunity to attend an Indianapolis Indians game and stand on the field with the players during pre-game ceremonies.
• The individual player that sells the most will have the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at that same Indianapolis Indians game!
• Each team that sells their full allotment of tickets will be entered into a drawing to receive a pizza party at Greek’s for their team (one for softball and one for baseball). Additional teams will receive gift cards to Greek’s to help fund a pizza party.

Managers/team parents will be collecting the funds and unsold tickets throughout the season.  All team collections are due on or before May 19.

Here are some examples where fundraising money is spent – Field leveling and repair (such as Fields 7 and 9 this year), new softball and baseball equipment, new fencing panels, dugout renovations, lighting repairs, emergency equipment, scholarships, etc.
