When there is sufficient interest, ZLL may coordinate with other youth baseball programs, such as Babe Ruth programs to provide additional recreational baseball for players above the age 13. Generally the programs are divided so that younger teens (13-16) and older teens (16-18) are matched up with similar age levels from other organizations. Games may be played on Field 1 at Lion’s Park (primarily the younger teen group) and at other locations in Central Indiana.
These games are played using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches.
The season typically begins in late May. Registration typically opens in March/April and remains open through early May.
