The ZLL 12U Softball All Stars continued their great summer by beating West Lafayette Little League (7-5) and claiming the Section 5 Championship.  The Eagles finished Sectional play undefeated and are now 6-1 combined in Little League Tournament play.  With this victory the Eagles advance to the Indiana State Softball Championship being held in Yorktown, IN.  The Eagles will start the State Tournament on Saturday, July 16th at 1:30pm against Don Ayers Little League (Ft. Wayne).  They will continue pool play on Sunday, July 17th at 4pm against Indiana Central Little League and wrap up pool play on Monday, July 18th at 8pm against Yorktown Little League.

The girls have consistently lived up to the manta – Play Hard / Play Together.   They play the game the right way and represent themselves and Zionsville Little League well.  The Coaching Staff, Parents, Families and Friends are very proud of the teams accomplishments to-date.  Continued effort, togetherness and heart will serve this team well as they enter the Indiana State Tournament.
