The ZLL 12U (Majors) Softball All Stars defeated Southmont 13-1 on Saturday, July 2nd to win the District 8 Championship.  The 12U Lady Eagles will now advance to the Sectional Championship to be held July 10th to July 12th.

The Eagles were led defensively by Megan Lenig as she pitched 4 innings of 1-hit ball.  The Eagles were led offensively by Lenig (3 hits), Ella Carriere (2 hits) and Isabella Strecker (2 hits).

Members of the team are:  Annadel Benedict, Ella Carriere, Rachel Croner, Jisele Ebanks, Kaitlyn Garrett, Erica Gruesser, Megan Lenig, Allysa McCarthy, Katherine Readinger, Isabella Strecker,  and Dakota Young.  The manager is Steve Strecker.
