ZLL Anniversary Celebration Equipment Drive – Donate Your Old Gear

ZLL is conducting a baseball and softball equipment drive to benefit Play Ball Indiana (PBI) as part of our 60th Anniversary Celebration on June 7.

PBI is a not-for-profit organization affiliated with Major League Baseball’s RBI program (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities).  RBI is a youth outreach program designed to increase participation and interest in baseball and softball, encourage academic participation and achievement, increase the number of talented athletes prepared to play in college and minor leagues, promote greater inclusion of minorities into the mainstream of the game and teach the value of teamwork.  For more information about Play Ball Indiana, visit www.playballindiana.com.

ZLL will be collecting the following items at the June 7, 60th Anniversary Celebration.

  • Gloves
  • Shoes/cleats
  • Bats
  • Helmets (in good to new condition)
  • Gently used or new baseballs and softballs
