Purdue University’s Baseball program (www.goldandblackbaseball.com) will be holding their annual baseball camps over winter break. Sign up today for this great opportunity. The letter below contains all the details…
I want to personally invite all players, coaches and parents who participate with Zionsville Little League to the Purdue Youth Baseball Camp & Indoor Games to be held at the Mollenkopf Athletic Center on Purdue University’s campus on December 29-30, 2012. This is a unique opportunity to play indoor games in the winter and receive instruction from the Purdue Baseball coaching staff and a select group of college and high school coaches from around the region and country. Parents, guardians and coaches are encouraged to attend, take notes & video and ask questions.
All interested campers and coaches must register online at camp website. The camp is set-up for two days with a one day option. The camp is scheduled to take place on December 29th and December 30th, 2012. Both days will run from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Lunch will be provided for each camper. Each youth baseball player will receive a Purdue Baseball T-Shirt.
Both days will feature full-sized baseball games in the 92,000 square foot Mollenkopf Athletic Center. Mollenkopf features FieldTurf along with two full-length batting cages, ample room for hitting, defensive and pitching drills and, of course, enough room to play a complete indoor game. When the baseball players are not participating in games they will be receiving personal instruction from the coaches through one-on-one participation and small group work. Hitting, pitching, catching, defense, base running and other topics will all be covered. The camp is scheduled as a two-day camp. Not all baseball topics will be covered on both days. The one-day option is for those who schedule won’t allow for both days.
Please visit www.goldandblackbaseball.com to register and to learn more about the Purdue Youth Baseball Camp & Indoor Games. Space is expected to fill quickly as this is a special opportunity to play real baseball games…in December. Online registration is required because it guarantees a place in camp immediately and it is secure.
I think this would be great for any member of your organization, any help that you can give us by passing this along to other coaches and families would be amazing. Thank you very much.
