The Zionsville Little League 11U Green All-Stars finished their District 8 tournament run with a second place finish to Brownsburg.  The Eagles were defeated by Brownsburg in the 11U Championship Game 11-4.

The team, managed by Mike Naspinski, finished the District 8 tournament with a 5-2 overall record – with the majority of their wins by double digits.  After losing a game in the third round to Eagle Creek, the Eagles fought their way through the elimination bracket where a second loss would knock them out of the tournament.  They avenged a loss to a tough Eagle Creek team to reach the Championship Game against Brownsburg.

Brownsburg, which did not lose a game in the tournament, showed their championship makeup by playing nearly flawless defense and displaying timely hitting.
