In Wednesday’s Majors baseball tournament games, the Red Sox sneaked past the Orioles and the Reds cruised past the Cardinals to move on to the next round of the elimination bracket.  On Thursday evening the Yankees will face the Cubs for the right to play in Saturday’s championship game.  That game will be followed up by the Red Sox and the Reds battling to survive the next round of the elimination bracket.

In AAA, the Twins prevailed over the Marlins and they can now relax until their Saturday afternoon matchup in the AAA Championship against the winner of the Marlins and Phillies.  The Phillies survived a late game against the Blue Jays.

In AA, the Dodgers marched into Saturday’s AA championship game by defeating the Tigers.  The Dodgers will face the Pirates at 2 pm on Saturday for the AA Title.
