Each year Indiana Little League District 8 runs two District wide rec team tournaments that culminate in a champion that can claim the title of the best rec team in the District.

The Keraga Cup, named in honor of the late Chuck Keraga, is a tournament of Little League District 8 Majors recreation baseball teams.  In softball, Majors softball teams compete against one another for a District-wide crown in the President’s Cup.

The baseball tournament was originally named the President’s Cup, too, but was renamed to memorialize Chuck Keraga, a former Zionsville Little League official and active community member in Zionsville.

Zionsville teams have fared well in the tournament, with several softball teams winning the tournament or finishing as runners up.  In 2012, the Zionsville Majors A’s claimed the Keraga Cup crown.
