Volunteer to Serve on the ZLL Board – Elections on September 9

The Zionsville Little League Board of Directors is comprised of volunteers who strive to offer the children of Zionsville an opportunity for fun and competitive baseball and softball. Each September, a new Board is elected by the families of Zionsville Little League. This year the Board elections will take place on Monday September 9th at 7:00 pm at the Lions’ Club clubhouse on Elm Street.

ZLL strongly encourages you to attend this meeting to vote on the new board, or perhaps to run for election. Any person who had a child playing in ZLL in the past year is eligible to vote. Any person with a child participating in Zionsville Little League or any person who has served as a volunteer for ZLL may be nominated to serve as a Board member. You may nominate yourself, or another eligible voter may nominate you.

There are 20 Board positions, and all are open for election each year. Every existing Board member must be re-elected – there are no automatic carryovers from year to year. Every year the Board welcomes new members who have never served before. It is an important and healthy aspect to our Board that new members bring new ideas and enthusiasm for making ZLL better and better.
