ZLL Board Elections coming up – Vote and Volunteer!

Zionsville Little League is managed and operated by volunteers in the community, mostly parents of ZLL players. Each year in September, the Board of Directors for the following season is elected to a one-year term. The next elections will be held on Sunday September 9 at 6:30 pm at the Lion’s Club clubhouse.

We would like to encourage all parents to attend this important meeting to vote on the new Board of Directors. In addition, we also would like interested persons to volunteer to serve as a Board member.

All parents of children who participated in Zionsville Little League during the 2012 season are eligible to vote on September 9. You must be present to vote.

Any person who served in ANY volunteer capacity [coach, assistant coach, scorekeeper, prepped fields, team parent], for ZLL during the past season is eligible to serve as a Board member. There are 20 Board positions open for elections. For more information about the Board positions, you can refer to http://zionsvillelittleleague.org/about/board/board-duties/. A list of the current Board members and their contact information can be found at http://zionsvillelittleleague.org/about/board/. You may nominate yourself or have another person nominate you for election to the Board.

If you have any questions about serving on the Board or the upcoming elections, please contact ZLL President Greg Williams at gregwilliam@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support of Zionsville Little League
