In Thursday evening action, the Pirates downed the Braves and the Tigers eliminated the Nationals in the semi-finals of the Rookie Baseball Tournament.  The Pirates and the Tigers will battle on Saturday morning at 10 am for the Rookie Baseball Championship.

In Single A Baseball, the Rays defeated the Angels for the final slot in Saturday’s noon Championship game.  The Rays will play the Indians, who advanced with a victory over the White Sox on Wednesday.
